[edit]
Description
English: "6th Map of CHINESE TARTARY, Containing the Lands of the NANAI and THREE TRIBES, which are the Ancient MANCHU Lands" from the New Atlas of China, Chinese Tartary, and Tibet. Yupi (魚皮, "fish-skins") was a Chinese name for the Nanai, who traditionally fashioned clothing from fish. Ilan-Hala (Manchu: ᡳᠯᠠᠨ ᡥᠠᠯᠠ, "Three Tribes"; Chinese: 三姓, Sanxing) was an area of the Hurka River valley, its chief settlement with present-day Yilan County (依蘭縣), Harbin Prefecture, Heilongjiang Province, China, and the tribes who lived nearby.
