Description
Deutsch: 31.08.2007 01097 Dresden-Innere Neustadt, Köpckestraße 1: Jägerhof, heute Museum für Volkskunst (GMP: 51.057809,13.743872). Rest des ehemaligen, 1404 gegründeten "Augustiner-Eremitenklosters" (1539 Kloster aufgehoben und 1546 abgerissen). An ihrer Stelle wird der Renaissancebau Jägerhof 1568-1613 errichtet. Einziger Renaissancebau im rechtselbischen Dresden. Ursprünglich Vierflügelanlage. Erhalten ist zweigeschossiger Westflügel mit Volutengiebel und drei Treppentürmen mit welschen Hauben. Hofrat Oskar Seyffert (1862-1940) gründete hier das am 6. Mai 1913 eröffnete Museum für Sächsische Volkskunst und bewahrte damit die Reste der historischen Bebauung vor dem Abriß. Nach Kriegsschäden bis 1954 wieder errichtet. Davor Trogbrunnen (1980) zur Erinnerung an die Röhrfahrt vom Heiligen Born zur Wasserversorgung des vormaligen Augustinerklosters.
