•  Info Austrian-American photographer Ernst Haas (1921–1986) was a pioneer of color photography who is also known for his blurred motion imagery. On my most recent trip to New York City, I explored this technique in Midtown Manhattan. I tried to provide context by including the yellow medallion taxis while aiming for a maximum in dynamic movement. The image currently illustrates Wikipedia’s article “Intentional camera movement”. – I find it extremely satisfying to be aware of the history of photography when taking pictures.
