Swiss photographer Frédéric ("Fred") Boissonnas died in 1946. Thus, his work is still protected in Switzerland till the end of 2016 (70 years p.m.a.). At least some of the photos were published before 1923 and have a "PD-US" or "PD-1923" template, which, however, isn't sufficient - for Commons, they would also need to be free in their country of origin, which I suppose to be Switzerland... though I'm not 100% sure: The photographer was certainly Swiss, but the status of his photographs from other countries may depend upon where they were published first. However, there is no information regarding first publication in the descriptions. Some give a blog or "unknown" as source... I also do not think that {{PD-Switzerland-photo}} would be applicable, as to me, these photos seem to have individual character.
