Description
English: The article on P.S. Krøyer in Biografisk Leksikon mentions that Alma Pfaff and Hans Gyde Petersen modelled him in 1907. The bust by Gyde Petersen, cast in bronze, is now at Statens Museum for Kunst. Pfaff and Petersen are shown here standing in Krøyer's studio modelling the famous painter, who is sitting carelessly smoking his pipe in front of a bookcase. Several paintings are on the floor. A bust of the painter's daughter Vibeke - now in the collection of Skagens Museum is in front of the large cupboard in the corner. On the bookcase behind Krøyer are two busts of fellow Skagen painters Anna Ancher and Michael Ancher.
