Description
Deutsch: Frankfurt am Main, Stadtteil Ginnheim: Das Ginnheimer Wäldchen ist ein nur wenige Hektar großes Stück Laubwald im Nordosten des Niddaparks. Das Waldstück wird sehr zurückhaltend bewirtschaftet; Holzeinschlag beschränkt sich auf das Freihalten der Waldwege und das Fällen sturzgefährdeter Bäume. Die Ränder des Ginnheimer Wäldchens sind durch dichtes Unterholz (verschiedene Sträucher und junge Bäume) charakterisiert; in dessen Innerem ist der Boden von einer spärlichen Krautschicht sowie von Totholz in allen Größen bedeckt. Im Bild eine aus herabgefallenen Ästen vermutlich von spielenden Kindern errichtete „Hütte“ nahe dem westlichen Waldrand, aufgenommen kurz vor Sonnenuntergang
