Deutsch: Die goldene Traube steht für den schon im 9. Jahrhundert nachweisbaren, früher bedeutenden Weinbau im Gemeindegebiet, kann aber auch als redendes Bild für den Ortsnamen Winzer gedeutet werden. Die drei Halbmonde sind dem Familienwappen der hier reich begüterten Herren von Puchberg entnommen, die seit spätestens 1307 nach Einheirat in das Ortsadelsgeschlecht der Winzerer auf der Burg Oberwinzer saßen und diese ausbauten. Die Farben Silber und Blau spielen auf die bayerischen Landesfarben an. Erst 1932 erhielt die Gemeinde ein Wappen, das von Otto Hupp in einem runden Schild gestaltet wurde. Die bis 1978 selbstständige Gemeinde Neßlbach hatte seit 1954 ein eigenes Wappen, das neben anderen Figuren in Erinnerung an die Puchberger einen Halbmond enthielt. |
