Daniels & Fisher Dept. store, constructed in 1910, 325 ft. high. It was the highest structure in the western US at that time.
Colorado State Capitol building, completed in 1894. The dome is covered with genuine gold plates. The steps on the west side include markers showing that they are exactly one mile above sea level.
