Luella Lockwood Moore (1864-1927) was a talented pianist and composer from Michigan, daughter of composer C.T. Lockwood. She composed at least 15 published works, including this nice Spanish-style intermezzo. Arcadia derives from a Greek word and placename and refers to a vision of pastoralism and harmony with nature. Published by Maurice Shapiro in New York City in 1910.
