GLAM

edit

Dear Michael,

Last year you have entered the Wiki Loves Monuments competition, and added your photos to the by Europeana sponsored category 'Galleries, Libraries Archives and Museums' (GLAM). With 4,611 submissions, we shortlisted 50 photographs. Users then voted for their favorites on Facebook.

The 16 most popular photos are used in our latest virtual exhibition: Wiki Loves GLAM. The following three photos you took, are between those 16 photographs! http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ve%C5%BEa.JPG https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Hrad_Helf%C5%A1t%C3%BDn,_z%C5%99%C3%ADcenina_%28T%C3%BDn_nad_Be%C4%8Dvou16.JPG http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Kaple_sv._Cyrila_a_Metod%C4%9Bje_(Doln%C3%AD_Be%C4%8Dva).JPG

Would you like to tell your personal story of the picture, for example why you took the photos and what does the building mean to you. Please contact me if you are interested, and we will add your stories to the virtual exhibition.

You can visit the virtual exhibition via this link: http://exhibitions.europeana.eu/exhibits/show/wiki-loves-glam

Hallo Karl, a would like to add my photos to GLAM. And, where can i do it ? Thanx, Michal

Hi Michal, it's simple, you must edit the description of these photos and add like like the other categories the text Category:GLAM images from Wiki Loves Monuments 2012. I added as sample with the image File:Červený kameň - nádvorie 12.JPG at the end of description. So you can see, that this image is categorized in the GLAM-category. As additional info, the same is valid in czech photos, if they are from a galery, library, archiv or museum are. --regards K@rl (talk) 20:59, 20 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Nesprávně identifikované památky

edit

Dobrý den, blahopřeji k vaší účasti a úspěchu v soutěži Wiki miluje památky. E. g., none of your images of Trier says what the photo actually depicts. Hence, they are pretty useless, unfortunately. --AndreasPraefcke (talk) 11:57, 7 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mr. Andreas Praefcke. Thanks for your comments of my photos for the actually depicts. You need some comments of this photos? Excuse me, but we made only one trip to Trier. Actually, I don´t know some names of this historical monuments. But, I will find it later, OK ? Have a nice day

The winners of Wiki Loves Monumnt in Germany 2013

edit

Dear Michal, again I could find your name in the list of winners of German WLM 2013, as last year. Congratulations. We would like to invite all winners to the WLM ceremony within the WikiCon conference, which will be held in Karlsruhe from November 22-24. Wikimedia Deutschland WMDE will cover for several winners the travel costs. Is it possible for you to join our event and to give a report on WLM in Czech Republic? It would be great. Looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. Best personal regards - Bernd / Dr. Bernd Gross (talk) 19:12, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dear Dr.Bernd Gross, It looks that I am lucky, again. Thank you for inviting me to the WLM ceremony in Karlsruhe. It would be great to be present there. And also than I will be able to make an report on WLM ceremony in my country. Anyway all this could happend, only if the travel costs will be covered from your side - cca 200 €. The distance to Karlsruhe from my place is about 850 km. I am looking forward for your positive response. Best regards Michal Bjalek

Dear Michal, thank you very much. It is a great pleasure for us to welcome you in Karlsruhe. We will cover for you travel costs and hotel. I announced here your report, I think it will be in English. Best regards - Bernd / Dr. Bernd Gross (talk) 05:27, 25 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dear Dr. Gross,

Thank you very much for your invitation, to finish the plannig of my trip to Germany, I need to clear these points: 1.) Eventualy, my brother have to travel with me. So my question is, if You can also cover his travel costs - it means only the extra hotel stay. 2.)What are the proper/suitable documents to declaire the travel costs ( gas and hotel bills ) 3.) Please specify the full ceremony and hotel adress ( if you have prereserved location for the hotel ) Or if we can make choose on our own, there will be to describe the neseary price limit of the hotel room. 4.) I am guessing that my parcipitation is planed only for Saturday.

Thank you for answers.

Best regards

Michal Bjalek

File:Bouzov11.JPG has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 startet in Kürze

edit

Hallo Bjalek Michal,
