The Stasi, officially known as the Ministry for State Security (German: Ministerium für Staatssicherheit), is a faction featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The Stasi is the primary security and secret police service of East Germany.
Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified[]
They appear exclusively in the campaign level Active Measures. Alex Mason was supposed to meet a Stasi defector, however he got killed by a sniper. Mason manages to gather intel from his body before getting attacked by Stasi and KGB troops, who failed to kill him due to his escape. The intel from the Defector had information on the KGB Colonel Mikhail Belov meaning he is probably associated with them.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War[]
The Stasi is an enemy faction in the campaign level Brick in the Wall. They are seen alongside the Volkspolizei patrolling and tracking enemy spies around the Berlin Wall.
Franz Kraus was a former Stasi agent working for Anton Volkov and Perseus.
