Save data bonuses are extra content in Nintendo Switch games available for users with save data on the system for another game. This does not require the other game to be installed or inserted, and the user profile often does not need save data from the other game but requires playtime of the game to be present on the system from having turned the game on at least once. Save data bonuses give the player various rewards, most notably allowing certain Mythical Pokémon to be obtained without limited time events.

Gift Pokémon

Save data from Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! allows the player to receive a Pikachu with the Gigantamax Factor from an NPC inside the Meetup Spot station, while save data from Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! allows the player to receive an Eevee with the Gigantamax Factor.

  • This was initially the only way to obtain a Pikachu or Eevee with the Gigantamax Factor, prior to becoming available in special Max Raid Battles, and later on the The Isle of Armor expansion's addition of Max Soup, allowing the Gigantamax Factor to be applied to any Pikachu or Eevee.

Cosmetic Items

Save data from Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, Let's Go, Eevee!, and Pokémon Quest each unlock one pair of a background and a frame for League Cards.
