Neo Champions

Neo Champions (Japanese: ネオ・チャンピオン Neo Champions) is a type of story event in Pokémon Masters EX. These events revolve around the Neo Champion Stadium, a recurring in-universe event that allows Trainers on Pasio to earn the title of Neo Champion. These events focus on one to three characters from a certain region and their journeys to becoming Neo Champions. While a variety of Trainers have been shown competing in Neo Champion Stadium tournaments, every tournament winner to date has been a player character or a rival. Most Neo Champions are depicted in a gold background with sparkles, excluding Three Trainers, Three Minds and Honing One's Love, which are depicted in a blue background with confettis.
