Mahmut Bajraktarević

Mahmut Bajraktarević (Sarajevo, 22. decembar 1909 – Bugojno, 13. april 1985) bio je bosanskohercegovački matematičar i akademik.[1][2] Diplomirao je 1933. na Univerzitetu u Beogradu, a doktorsku disertaciju na temu Sur certaines suites itérées (bs: Sigurne povratne iteracije) odbranio je 1953. na Sorboni. Bio je profesor na Univerzitetu u Sarajevu i imao je veliki utjecaj na razvoj matematike u Bosni i Hercegovini. Doprinosio je na poljima funkcionalnih jednačina, iterativnih nizova i divergentnih redova.
